Major Accomplishments

As Councilor and Prov’l. Board Member (1992-2004)

· Authored the Bontoc Waterworks Ordinance

· Authored the ordinance establishing the Bontoc Municipal Scholarship Program and the Provincial Scholarship Program

· Authored the ordinance Institutionalizing the Provincial Emergency Employment Program

· Served as the Provincial Budget Fiscalizer

· Authored the ordinance establishing the District Hospital Trust Fund

· Advocated the Provincial Employee Annual Bonus

· Authored Cash Incentive Awards for athletes winning major bronze, silver and gold medals in regional and national athletic competitions

As Vice Mayor (2004-2007)

· Initiated the passage of the Bontoc Ecological Solid Waste Management Program Ordinance

· Institutionalized the Annual P40,000 assistance to each of the 16 Barangays

· Authored the ordinance institutionalizing the Council of Elders

· Allocated budget for people in distress, deserving students who brought honor to the Municipality and boys/girls scouts, zonal, district/provincial/CARAA meets

· Increased honoraria of Barangay Health Workers, Barangay Tanods and Day Care Teachers

· Increased the budget for the Municipal Scholarship Program
